Happy 40th Birthday!

 

 

Denise is moving out of her 30's in to her 40's with a big bang. Who says a smash cake session only needs to be for a one year milestone!

 

Today we celebrate Denise turning 40! I meet Denise about 2 years ago when she started watching my son while I worked. She has now became a great friend. In the 2 years that I have known her, I have seen what an amazing, fun, caring, creative, and genuine person she is.

 

 



Dillon turns 5!!!! My dream of taking him to Disneyland comes true!!!!!

Disneyland

Anyone who knows me knows I am in LOVE with Disneyland. I can remember going to Disneyland with my parents when I was little and it being the best time of my life. As I grew into a teenager and into my 20's I would continue to go to Disneyland 2-3x a year I love it so much.

I had Dillon in 2011 and could not wait until the day he would be old enough for Disneyland. It took every ounce of self control to not take him before he was 5. I wanted to make sure his first time would be something he could remember and I really wanted to see Disneyland through his eyes and be able to see the magic it brings.

January 4th, 2016 my dream came true!!! Brandon and I planned on taking Dillon to Disneyland. On his birthday we gave him a sign that read "Surprise we are going to Disneyland! Happy 5th Birthday Dillon." He can't read yet so of course I read it to him with so much excitement lol.

We drove the many miles to California the next day! Since we weren't going to Disneyland until the Monday we decided to walk down to Downtown Disney for dinner and to look around.

The next day we woke up early went to Coco's for breakfast and started our trip to Disneyland!!!!

We walked through those gates and he just couldn't contain his excitement!

 

 

The first ride we rode was Astro Orbitor! I had to ride by myself but that's ok I got to capture this amazing picture :)

 

 

One of the things Dillon loved the most besides the rides was meeting the characters. He wants to go back his next birthday to get more autographs :)

 

I have to say he had the best birthday and we had a blast and I can't wait for more trips to Disneyland!!!
